Bunnies are high maintenance animals which need a lot of attention plus affection. Their back legs are strong and they use them to kick you off. So before you choose the decision in rearing rabbits they are some things that you need to learn.

– There are various sizes of bunnies. They are little rabbits that may be kept in small shelters and are not good for meat production. Then they will be the bigger ones that require a lot of space to live in. These are the rabbits that are kept for the production of meat and mating.

– When it comes to feeding rabbits you need to understand that they are vegetarians, so you can’t feed them meat. You must feed them chewy veggies like carrots and cabbages. You can also give them rabbit pellets since they have a lot of nutrients which will help them grow more powerful and healthy. A supplementary diet of hay and alfalfa may be provided to them as well.

– You must decide if you wish to keep indoor or outdoor rabbits. If you would like to raise outdoor bunnies then you should be sure you to offer protection for them. You must build them shelter and a protective fence. Rabbit houses should be made from steel cages or wood hutches because rabbits can eat on the wood.

Rearing rabbits is not the simplest thing to do but at the same time its not that difficult. Just care for them by giving them proper housing, feeding them right and also some little bit of cuddling.
