But if you know very well what you are doing then you will be a happy owner. If you are new to keeping bunnies then its highly recommended that you discover all you can in raising these creatures. Once you learn about raising rabbits then you will be prepared for what is ahead of you.

Bunnies are high maintenance animals which require a lot of attention plus affection. Although they are cuty creatures that you might think aren’t harmful, in reality they can hurt you if you handle them in a way they don’t like. Their back legs are strong and they use them to beat you off. So before you choose the decision in raising bunnies they are some things that you need to know.

– There are different sizes of bunnies. They are little bunnies that can be kept in small shelters and are not best for meat production. Then they are the bigger ones that require a lot of space to reside. These are the rabbits that are kept for meat production and mating.

– When it comes to feeding rabbits you need to understand that they are vegans, so you can not feed them meat. You should feed them chewy veggies like carrots and cabbages. You can also feed them bunnie pellets since they have a lot of nutrients which will help them germinate more powerful and healthy. A supplementary diet of hay or alfalfa may be given to them as well.

– You must decide if you wish to keep indoor or outdoor bunnies. If you need to raise outdoor bunnies then you should be sure you to offer protection for them. You must build them shelter and a protecting fence. Rabbit houses should be made from stainlesss steel cages or wood cages because bunnies may eat on the wood.

Rearing bunnies is not the simplest thing to do but at the same time its not that difficult. Just care for them by giving them good housing, feeding them right and also some little bit of cuddling.
