Rabbits are high maintenance creatures which require a lot of attention and affection. Although they are cute cuddy creatures that you could think are not harmful, in actual fact they can hurt you if you handle them in a manner they don’t like. – There are various sizes of bunnies. They are little bunnies that can be kept in small shelters and are not good for meat production. Then they are the bigger ones that need a lot of space to live in. These are the bunnies that are kept for meat production and breeding.
– When it comes to feeding rabbits you need to know that they are vegetarians, so you can not feed them meat. You must feed them chewy vegetables like carrots and cabbages. You can also give them rabbit pellets since they have a lot of nutrients which will help them grow more powerful and healthy. A supplementary diet of hay or alfalfa can be provided to them as well.
– You should decide if you would like to keep indoor or outdoor bunnies. If you would like to raise outdoor rabbits then you should be sure to offer protection for them. You must build them shelter and a protective fence. Rabbit houses should be made from stainlesss steel cages or wood cages because bunnies may eat on the wood.
Rearing bunnies is not the easiest thing to do but at the same time its not that difficult. Just manage them by giving them good housing, feeding them right and also some bit of cuddling.
