Bunnies are high maintenance animals which require a lot of attention and affection. Although they are cuty creatures that you could think aren’t harmful, in actual fact they may hurt you if you handle them in a manner they don’t like. – There are different sizes of rabbits. They are small rabbits that may be kept in small houses and are not great for producing meat. Then they will be the bigger ones that need a lot of space to live in. These are the rabbits that are raised for meat production and reproduction.
– When it comes to feeding rabbits you have to know that they are vegetarians, so you can’t feed them meat. You should feed them chewy vegetables like carrots and cabbages. You can also feed them rabbit pellets since they have a lot of nutrients which will help them grow more powerful and healthy. A supplementary diet of hay or alfalfa may be provided to them as well.
– You must decide if you wish to keep indoor or outdoor rabbits. If you need to keep outdoor bunnies then you must be sure you to offer protection for them. You must build them shelter and a safety fence. Bunnie houses must be made from stainlesss steel cages or wood hutches because rabbits may eat on the wood.
Rearing bunnies is not the easiest thing to do but at the same time its not that difficult. Just look after them by giving them proper housing, feeding them right and also some little cuddling.
