Rabbits are high maintenance creatures which require a lot of attention plus affection. Although they are cute cuddy creatures that you may think aren’t harmful, in actual fact they can hurt you if you handle them in a manner they don’t like. – There are different sizes of rabbits. They are small bunnies that may be kept in small shelters and are not good for meat production. Then they are the bigger ones that need a lot of space to live in. These are the rabbits that are raised for meat production and mating.
– When it comes to feeding rabbits you need to understand that they are non-meat eaters, so you can’t feed them meat. You must feed them chewy vegetables like carrots and cabbages. You may also feed them bunnie pellets since they have a lot of nutrients which will help them germinate more powerful and healthy. A supplementary diet of hay or alfalfa may be provided to them as well.
– You should decide if you wish to keep indoor or outdoor bunnies. If you need to raise outdoor rabbits then you must ensure you offer protection for them. You should build them shelter and a protecting fence. Rabbit houses should be made from stainlesss steel cages or wood hutches because bunnies can eat on the wood.
Rearing bunnies is not the simplest thing to do but at the same time its not that difficult. Just look after them by giving them proper housing, feeding them right and also some little cuddling.
