Their back legs are very strong and they use them to beat you off. So before you choose the decision in rearing bunnies they are some things that you need to find out.
– There are various sizes of bunnies. They are little bunnies that can be kept in small shelters and are not best for meat production. Then they are the bigger ones that require a lot of space to live in. These are the rabbits that are raised for meat production and mating.
– When it comes to feeding bunnies you need to understand that they are vegetarians, so you can not feed them meat. You should feed them chewy veggies like carrots and cabbages. You can also give them bunnie pellets since they have a lot of nutrients which will help them germinate more powerful and healthy. A supplementary diet of hay or alfalfa may be given to them as well.
– You should decide if you wish to keep indoor or outdoor rabbits. If you would like to keep outdoor bunnies then you should be sure to offer protection for them. You must build them shelter and a safety fence. Bunnie houses should be made from stainlesss steel cages or wood cages because rabbits may eat on the wood.
