Bunnies are high maintenance creatures which need a lot of attention and affection. Although they are cute cuddy creatures that you might think aren’t harmful, in actual fact they can hurt you if you handle them in a way they don’t like. – There are various sizes of bunnies. They are little rabbits that may be kept in small shelters and are not best for producing meat. Then they will be the bigger ones that need a lot of space to live in. These are the bunnies that are raised for the production of meat and reproduction.
– When it comes to feeding bunnies you need to know that they are non-meat eaters, so you can not feed them meat. You should feed them chewy veggies like carrots and cabbages. You can also give them rabbit pellets since they have a lot of nutrients which will help them grow more powerful and healthy. A supplementary diet of hay and alfalfa may be given to them as well.
– You should decide if you want to keep indoor or outdoor bunnies. If you want to keep outdoor bunnies then you must be sure to offer protection for them. You must build them shelter and a protective fence. Rabbit houses must be made from metal cages or wood hutches because bunnies may eat on the wood.
Rearing rabbits is not the simplest thing to do but at the same time its not that difficult. Just manage them by giving them good housing, feeding them right and also some little bit of cuddling.
