Rabbits are high maintenance animals which require a lot of attention and affection. Although they are cuty creatures that you may think are not harmful, in fact they can hurt you if you handle them in a way they don’t like. – There are different sizes of bunnies. They are little bunnies that may be kept in small houses and are not best for meat production. Then they are the bigger ones that require a lot of space to reside. These are the rabbits that are raised for the production of meat and breeding.
– When it comes to feeding rabbits you have to know that they are vegetarians, so you can’t feed them meat. You should feed them chewy vegetables like carrots and cabbages. You can also feed them bunnie pellets since they have a lot of nutrients which will help them grow more powerful and healthy. A supplementary diet of hay or alfalfa may be provided to them as well.
– You must decide if you wish to keep indoor or outdoor rabbits. If you need to keep outdoor bunnies then you must be sure you to offer protection for them. You should build them shelter and a protective fence. Bunnie houses should be made from stainlesss steel cages or wood cages because rabbits may eat on the wood.
Raising rabbits is not the easiest thing to do but at the same time its not that difficult. Just look after them by giving them good housing, feeding them right and also some little cuddling.
