Bunnies are high maintenance animals which require a lot of attention plus affection. Their back legs are very strong and they use them to kick you off. So before you choose the decision in rearing bunnies they are some things that you need to learn.
– There are various sizes of bunnies. They are little bunnies that may be kept in small shelters and are not great for meat production. Then they will be the bigger ones that need a lot of space to live in. These are the rabbits that are kept for meat production and breeding.
– When it comes to feeding bunnies you need to know that they are vegans, so you can’t feed them meat. You must feed them chewy vegetables like carrots and cabbages. You can also give them bunnie pellets since they have a lot of nutrients which will help them grow more powerful and healthier. A supplementary diet of hay or alfalfa can be given to them as well.
– You must decide if you want to keep indoor or outdoor rabbits. If you want to raise outdoor rabbits then you must be sure you to offer protection for them. You should build them shelter and a protective fence. Bunnie houses should be made from metal cages or wood cases because bunnies may eat on the wood.
