But if you know very well what you are doing then you will be a cheerful owner. If you are new to keeping bunnies then its recommended that you discover all you can in raising these creatures. Once you learn about raising bunnies then you will be prepared for what is ahead of you.

Rabbits are high maintenance creatures which require a lot of attention and affection. Although they are cuty creatures that you could think aren’t harmful, in reality they can hurt you if you handle them in a way they don’t like. Their back legs are very strong and they use them to beat you off. So before you choose the decision in raising bunnies they are some things that you may want to learn.

– There are various sizes of bunnies. They are little bunnies that can be kept in small shelters and are not best for producing meat. Then they will be the bigger ones that need a lot of space to live in. These are the bunnies that are raised for meat production and breeding.

– When it comes to feeding bunnies you need to understand that they are vegetarians, so you can’t feed them meat. You must feed them chewy vegetables like carrots and cabbages. You can also feed them bunnie pellets since they have a lot of nutrients which will help them germinate more powerful and healthy. A supplementary diet of hay and alfalfa may be provided to them as well.

– You should decide if you wish to keep indoor or outdoor bunnies. If you want to raise outdoor rabbits then you must be sure to offer protection for them. You should build them shelter and a protecting fence. Bunnie houses should be made from steel cages or wood cases because bunnies may eat on the wood.

Raising bunnies is not the simplest thing to do but at the same time its not that difficult. Just manage them by giving them proper housing, feeding them right and also some little bit of cuddling.
