Rabbits are high maintenance animals which need a lot of attention plus affection. Their back legs are very strong and they use them to kick you off. So before you choose the decision in rearing bunnies they are some things that you may want to find out.
– There are various sizes of bunnies. They are little bunnies that may be kept in small houses and are not best for meat production. Then they are the bigger ones that require a lot of space to live in. These are the bunnies that are raised for meat production and mating.
– When it comes to feeding rabbits you need to understand that they are vegans, so you can not feed them meat. You should feed them chewy vegetables like carrots and cabbages. You may also give them bunnie pellets since they have a lot of nutrients which will help them germinate more powerful and healthier. A supplementary diet of hay and alfalfa can be provided to them as well.
– You should decide if you would like to keep indoor or outdoor bunnies. If you would like to raise outdoor bunnies then you must be sure you to offer protection for them. You should build them shelter and a protecting fence. Bunnie houses should be made from stainlesss steel cages or wood cases because rabbits may eat on the wood.
