But if you really know what you are doing then you will be a cheerful owner. If you are new to keeping bunnies then its recommended that you discover all you can in raising these creatures. Once you learn about raising bunnies then you will be prepared for what is ahead of you.

Bunnies are high maintenance creatures which require a lot of attention and affection. Although they are cute cuddy creatures that you might think aren’t harmful, in actual fact they can hurt you if you handle them in a way they don’t like. Their back legs are strong and they use them to kick you off. So before you make the decision in rearing rabbits they are some things that you need to learn.

– There are different sizes of rabbits. They are small rabbits that may be kept in small houses and are not best for meat production. Then they will be the bigger ones that need a lot of space to live in. These are the bunnies that are kept for meat production and reproduction.

– When it comes to feeding bunnies you need to understand that they are vegans, so you can not feed them meat. You should feed them chewy vegetables like carrots and cabbages. You may also give them rabbit pellets since they have a lot of nutrients which will help them grow more powerful and healthier. A supplementary diet of hay or alfalfa may be given to them as well.

– You must decide if you wish to keep indoor or outdoor rabbits. If you need to keep outdoor rabbits then you should be sure you to offer protection for them. You should build them shelter and a protecting fence. Bunnie houses must be made from steel cages or wood cages because rabbits can eat on the wood.

Raising bunnies is not the simplest thing to do but at the same time its not that difficult. Just manage them by giving them good housing, feeding them right and also some little bit of cuddling.
