But if you really know what you are doing then you will be a happy owner. If you are new to raising bunnies then its recommended that you discover all you can in raising these creatures. Once you learn about raising rabbits then you will be prepared for what is ahead of you.

Bunnies are high maintenance animals which need a lot of attention plus affection. Although they are cute cuddy creatures that you could think aren’t harmful, in reality they may hurt you if you handle them in a manner they don’t like. Their back legs are strong and they use them to kick you off. So before you make the decision in rearing bunnies they are some things that you need to know.

– There are various sizes of bunnies. They are small bunnies that may be kept in small houses and are not best for producing meat. Then they are the bigger ones that require a lot of space to live in. These are the rabbits that are kept for the production of meat and reproduction.

– When it comes to feeding bunnies you need to know that they are non-meat eaters, so you can not feed them meat. You should feed them chewy veggies like carrots and cabbages. You may also feed them rabbit pellets since they have a lot of nutrients which will help them germinate more powerful and healthier. A supplementary diet of hay or alfalfa can be provided to them as well.

– You must decide if you want to keep indoor or outdoor rabbits. If you want to keep outdoor bunnies then you must be sure to offer protection for them. You should build them shelter and a protecting fence. Rabbit houses must be made from metal cages or wood hutches because bunnies can eat on the wood.

Rearing bunnies is not the simplest thing to do but at the same time its not that difficult. Just care for them by giving them proper housing, feeding them right and also some bit of cuddling.
