Their back legs are very strong and they use them to kick you off. So before you choose the decision in rearing bunnies they are some things that you may want to find out.
– There are various sizes of rabbits. They are small rabbits that may be kept in small shelters and are not great for meat production. Then they are the bigger ones that need a lot of space to reside. These are the bunnies that are raised for meat production and reproduction.
– When it comes to feeding rabbits you have to know that they are non-meat eaters, so you can not feed them meat. You should feed them chewy veggies like carrots and cabbages. You may also feed them rabbit pellets since they have a lot of nutrients which will help them grow more powerful and healthy. A supplementary diet of hay and alfalfa can be given to them as well.
– You should decide if you would like to keep indoor or outdoor bunnies. If you would like to raise outdoor rabbits then you must be sure you to offer protection for them. You should build them shelter and a protecting fence. Rabbit houses must be made from metal cages or wood hutches because rabbits may eat on the wood.
