Their back legs are strong and they use them to kick you off. So before you choose the decision in raising rabbits they are some things that you may want to know.
– There are various sizes of bunnies. They are little bunnies that can be kept in small houses and are not best for producing meat. Then they will be the bigger ones that need a lot of space to live in. These are the bunnies that are raised for meat production and mating.
– When it comes to feeding bunnies you need to understand that they are vegetarians, so you can not feed them meat. You must feed them chewy veggies like carrots and cabbages. You may also give them bunnie pellets since they have a lot of nutrients which will help them germinate more powerful and healthy. A supplementary diet of hay and alfalfa can be provided to them as well.
– You must decide if you want to keep indoor or outdoor bunnies. If you would like to raise outdoor rabbits then you must be sure to offer protection for them. You must build them shelter and a safety fence. Rabbit houses must be made from steel cages or wood cases because rabbits may eat on the wood.
