Bunnies are high maintenance animals which require a lot of attention and affection. Although they are cuty creatures that you could think are not harmful, in reality they can hurt you if you handle them in a manner they don’t like. Their back legs are strong and they use them to kick you off. So before you make the decision in raising bunnies they are some things that you may want to know.

– There are different sizes of bunnies. They are little bunnies that may be kept in small shelters and are not great for producing meat. Then they are the bigger ones that require a lot of space to reside. These are the rabbits that are kept for meat production and mating.

– When it comes to feeding rabbits you have to know that they are non-meat eaters, so you can’t feed them meat. You should feed them chewy veggies like carrots and cabbages. You can also feed them bunnie pellets since they have a lot of nutrients which will help them germinate more powerful and healthy. A supplementary diet of hay or alfalfa may be given to them as well.

– You should decide if you would like to keep indoor or outdoor bunnies. If you need to keep outdoor bunnies then you should be sure you to offer protection for them. You must build them shelter and a protecting fence. Bunnie houses must be made from steel cages or wood cases because bunnies may eat on the wood.

Raising bunnies is not the simplest thing to do but at the same time its not that difficult. Just look after them by giving them proper housing, feeding them right and also some bit of cuddling.
