Their back legs are strong and they use them to kick you off. So before you choose the decision in rearing rabbits they are some things that you need to find out.
– There are various sizes of bunnies. They are small bunnies that can be kept in small shelters and are not great for producing meat. Then they will be the bigger ones that need a lot of space to live in. These are the bunnies that are raised for the production of meat and mating.
– When it comes to feeding bunnies you need to know that they are vegans, so you can not feed them meat. You should feed them chewy veggies like carrots and cabbages. You can also give them bunnie pellets since they have a lot of nutrients which will help them germinate more powerful and healthier. A supplementary diet of hay and alfalfa can be provided to them as well.
– You should decide if you would like to keep indoor or outdoor rabbits. If you need to keep outdoor bunnies then you must ensure you offer protection for them. You should build them shelter and a safety fence. Bunnie houses should be made from metal cages or wood cases because bunnies can eat on the wood.
