Rabbits are high maintenance creatures which require a lot of attention and affection. Although they are cuty creatures that you might think aren’t harmful, in fact they may hurt you if you handle them in a way they don’t like. Their back legs are very strong and they use them to beat you off. So before you choose the decision in rearing bunnies they are some things that you may want to know.

– There are various sizes of bunnies. They are little bunnies that can be kept in small shelters and are not great for producing meat. Then they are the bigger ones that require a lot of space to reside. These are the rabbits that are raised for the production of meat and reproduction.

– When it comes to feeding rabbits you need to understand that they are vegans, so you can not feed them meat. You should feed them chewy veggies like carrots and cabbages. You may also feed them bunnie pellets since they have a lot of nutrients which will help them grow more powerful and healthy. A supplementary diet of hay and alfalfa can be given to them as well.

– You must decide if you want to keep indoor or outdoor rabbits. If you want to keep outdoor bunnies then you must ensure you offer protection for them. You should build them shelter and a protective fence. Rabbit houses should be made from metal cages or wood cages because rabbits may eat on the wood.

Rearing bunnies is not the simplest thing to do but at the same time its not that difficult. Just manage them by giving them good housing, feeding them right and also some little bit of cuddling.
