But if you know very well what you are doing then you will be a cheerful owner. If you are new to keeping bunnies then its recommended that you discover all you can in raising these creatures. Once you learn about rearing bunnies then you will be prepared for what is ahead of you.

Rabbits are high maintenance animals which need a lot of attention plus affection. Although they are cute cuddy creatures that you might think are not harmful, in actual fact they can hurt you if you handle them in a way they don’t like. Their back legs are strong and they use them to kick you off. So before you make the decision in rearing rabbits they are some things that you need to learn.

– There are different sizes of bunnies. They are little rabbits that can be kept in small shelters and are not good for meat production. Then they will be the bigger ones that require a lot of space to live in. These are the bunnies that are raised for the production of meat and breeding.

– When it comes to feeding rabbits you need to understand that they are vegetarians, so you can’t feed them meat. You must feed them chewy veggies like carrots and cabbages. You can also give them bunnie pellets since they have a lot of nutrients which will help them germinate more powerful and healthy. A supplementary diet of hay or alfalfa can be given to them as well.

– You should decide if you wish to keep indoor or outdoor bunnies. If you need to raise outdoor bunnies then you should be sure you to offer protection for them. You should build them shelter and a safety fence. Rabbit houses should be made from metal cages or wood cages because rabbits may eat on the wood.

Raising rabbits is not the easiest thing to do but at the same time its not that difficult. Just care for them by giving them proper housing, feeding them right and also some bit of cuddling.
