Rabbits are high maintenance animals which need a lot of attention plus affection. Their back legs are very strong and they use them to kick you off. So before you make the decision in raising rabbits they are some things that you need to find out.

– There are various sizes of bunnies. They are little rabbits that may be kept in small houses and are not great for producing meat. Then they will be the bigger ones that need a lot of space to live in. These are the bunnies that are kept for meat production and reproduction.

– When it comes to feeding rabbits you need to know that they are non-meat eaters, so you can not feed them meat. You must feed them chewy vegetables like carrots and cabbages. You may also feed them bunnie pellets since they have a lot of nutrients which will help them germinate more powerful and healthier. A supplementary diet of hay and alfalfa can be provided to them as well.

– You should decide if you would like to keep indoor or outdoor rabbits. If you would like to keep outdoor bunnies then you should be sure to offer protection for them. You should build them shelter and a protecting fence. Bunnie houses should be made from stainlesss steel cages or wood hutches because rabbits can eat on the wood.

Rearing bunnies is not the easiest thing to do but at the same time its not that difficult. Just look after them by giving them good housing, feeding them right and also some bit of cuddling.
