Rabbits are high maintenance creatures which require a lot of attention and affection. Although they are cuty creatures that you could think are not harmful, in fact they may hurt you if you handle them in a way they don’t like. Their back legs are strong and they use them to beat you off. So before you make the decision in raising rabbits they are some things that you need to learn.

– There are various sizes of bunnies. They are little bunnies that can be kept in small shelters and are not good for producing meat. Then they are the bigger ones that need a lot of space to reside. These are the rabbits that are raised for the production of meat and reproduction.

– When it comes to feeding rabbits you need to know that they are vegans, so you can not feed them meat. You must feed them chewy veggies like carrots and cabbages. You may also feed them rabbit pellets since they have a lot of nutrients which will help them grow more powerful and healthy. A supplementary diet of hay or alfalfa may be given to them as well.

– You must decide if you want to keep indoor or outdoor bunnies. If you would like to keep outdoor rabbits then you must be sure you to offer protection for them. You must build them shelter and a protecting fence. Bunnie houses must be made from stainlesss steel cages or wood cases because rabbits can eat on the wood.

Raising rabbits is not the easiest thing to do but at the same time its not that difficult. Just look after them by giving them proper housing, feeding them right and also some little bit of cuddling.
