But if you know very well what you are doing then you will be a happy owner. If you are new to raising bunnies then its recommended that you learn all you can in raising these creatures. Once you learn about raising rabbits then you will be prepared for what is ahead of you.

Bunnies are high maintenance animals which require a lot of attention plus affection. Although they are cute cuddy creatures that you could think are not harmful, in reality they may hurt you if you handle them in a way they don’t like. Their back legs are very strong and they use them to kick you off. So before you choose the decision in rearing bunnies they are some things that you may want to learn.

– There are various sizes of bunnies. They are small bunnies that may be kept in small shelters and are not best for producing meat. Then they are the bigger ones that need a lot of space to reside. These are the rabbits that are raised for meat production and reproduction.

– When it comes to feeding rabbits you have to know that they are vegans, so you can’t feed them meat. You should feed them chewy veggies like carrots and cabbages. You may also give them bunnie pellets since they have a lot of nutrients which will help them grow more powerful and healthy. A supplementary diet of hay or alfalfa may be provided to them as well.

– You must decide if you would like to keep indoor or outdoor rabbits. If you need to keep outdoor bunnies then you must be sure to offer protection for them. You must build them shelter and a protecting fence. Bunnie houses should be made from steel cages or wood cases because bunnies can eat on the wood.

Rearing rabbits is not the easiest thing to do but at the same time its not that difficult. Just care for them by giving them good housing, feeding them right and also some little cuddling.
