But if you really know what you are doing then you will be a happy owner. If you are new to raising bunnies then its a good idea that you learn all you can in rearing these creatures. Once you learn about raising bunnies then you will be prepared for what is ahead of you.

Bunnies are high maintenance animals which require a lot of attention plus affection. Although they are cute cuddy creatures that you could think aren’t harmful, in fact they may hurt you if you handle them in a way they don’t like. Their back legs are very strong and they use them to kick you off. So before you make the decision in raising bunnies they are some things that you need to know.

– There are various sizes of rabbits. They are little bunnies that can be kept in small houses and are not great for producing meat. Then they are the bigger ones that require a lot of space to reside. These are the bunnies that are kept for meat production and breeding.

– When it comes to feeding bunnies you need to understand that they are vegetarians, so you can’t feed them meat. You should feed them chewy vegetables like carrots and cabbages. You can also give them bunnie pellets since they have a lot of nutrients which will help them germinate more powerful and healthier. A supplementary diet of hay and alfalfa can be given to them as well.

– You must decide if you wish to keep indoor or outdoor rabbits. If you need to raise outdoor rabbits then you must be sure you to offer protection for them. You should build them shelter and a protective fence. Bunnie houses should be made from stainlesss steel cages or wood cases because rabbits can eat on the wood.

Raising rabbits is not the simplest thing to do but at the same time its not that difficult. Just look after them by giving them good housing, feeding them right and also some little cuddling.
