Rabbits are high maintenance creatures which need a lot of attention plus affection. Although they are cute cuddy creatures that you might think are not harmful, in fact they may hurt you if you handle them in a way they don’t like. – There are various sizes of rabbits. They are little bunnies that can be kept in small shelters and are not best for meat production. Then they are the bigger ones that need a lot of space to live in. These are the bunnies that are kept for the production of meat and breeding.
– When it comes to feeding rabbits you need to understand that they are vegans, so you can’t feed them meat. You should feed them chewy veggies like carrots and cabbages. You can also feed them rabbit pellets since they have a lot of nutrients which will help them germinate more powerful and healthy. A supplementary diet of hay and alfalfa can be provided to them as well.
– You must decide if you wish to keep indoor or outdoor rabbits. If you would like to keep outdoor bunnies then you should be sure you to offer protection for them. You must build them shelter and a protecting fence. Rabbit houses must be made from metal cages or wood hutches because rabbits can eat on the wood.
Rearing rabbits is not the easiest thing to do but at the same time its not that difficult. Just manage them by giving them proper housing, feeding them right and also some bit of cuddling.
