But if you really know what you are doing then you will be a happy owner. If you are new to keeping rabbits then its recommended that you learn all you can in rearing these creatures. Once you learn about raising bunnies then you will be prepared for what is ahead of you.

Rabbits are high maintenance creatures which need a lot of attention plus affection. Although they are cute cuddy creatures that you could think aren’t harmful, in reality they may hurt you if you handle them in a way they don’t like. Their back legs are very strong and they use them to kick you off. So before you choose the decision in rearing bunnies they are some things that you need to know.

– There are various sizes of bunnies. They are little bunnies that can be kept in small shelters and are not best for producing meat. Then they are the bigger ones that require a lot of space to reside. These are the rabbits that are kept for meat production and reproduction.

– When it comes to feeding rabbits you need to know that they are vegetarians, so you can’t feed them meat. You must feed them chewy vegetables like carrots and cabbages. You may also feed them bunnie pellets since they have a lot of nutrients which will help them germinate more powerful and healthier. A supplementary diet of hay and alfalfa can be provided to them as well.

– You must decide if you want to keep indoor or outdoor bunnies. If you want to keep outdoor rabbits then you must be sure to offer protection for them. You should build them shelter and a protective fence. Bunnie houses should be made from metal cages or wood hutches because rabbits may eat on the wood.

Raising bunnies is not the easiest thing to do but at the same time its not that difficult. Just care for them by giving them proper housing, feeding them right and also some bit of cuddling.
