But if you know very well what you are doing then you will be a happy owner. If you are new to raising bunnies then its a good idea that you learn all you can in rearing these creatures. Once you learn about raising rabbits then you will be prepared for what is in front of you.

Rabbits are high maintenance creatures which need a lot of attention and affection. Although they are cute cuddy creatures that you could think are not harmful, in actual fact they may hurt you if you handle them in a manner they don’t like. Their back legs are strong and they use them to beat you off. So before you make the decision in rearing bunnies they are some things that you need to know.

– There are different sizes of bunnies. They are small rabbits that may be kept in small shelters and are not good for meat production. Then they will be the bigger ones that require a lot of space to live in. These are the bunnies that are kept for meat production and reproduction.

– When it comes to feeding bunnies you need to understand that they are vegans, so you can’t feed them meat. You should feed them chewy veggies like carrots and cabbages. You may also feed them bunnie pellets since they have a lot of nutrients which will help them germinate more powerful and healthier. A supplementary diet of hay and alfalfa may be given to them as well.

– You must decide if you would like to keep indoor or outdoor rabbits. If you need to keep outdoor bunnies then you should be sure you to offer protection for them. You must build them shelter and a protective fence. Bunnie houses should be made from steel cages or wood cages because bunnies may eat on the wood.

Rearing rabbits is not the simplest thing to do but at the same time its not that difficult. Just look after them by giving them proper housing, feeding them right and also some little cuddling.
