Bunnies are high maintenance animals which need a lot of attention and affection. Their back legs are strong and they use them to beat you off. So before you choose the decision in raising bunnies they are some things that you may want to learn.
– There are various sizes of bunnies. They are little rabbits that can be kept in small houses and are not great for meat production. Then they will be the bigger ones that need a lot of space to reside. These are the rabbits that are kept for the production of meat and breeding.
– When it comes to feeding bunnies you need to know that they are vegetarians, so you can’t feed them meat. You must feed them chewy vegetables like carrots and cabbages. You may also feed them bunnie pellets since they have a lot of nutrients which will help them germinate more powerful and healthier. A supplementary diet of hay and alfalfa may be given to them as well.
– You must decide if you would like to keep indoor or outdoor bunnies. If you want to raise outdoor bunnies then you should ensure you offer protection for them. You must build them shelter and a safety fence. Rabbit houses must be made from steel cages or wood cages because bunnies may eat on the wood.
